Websites are used in education in the 21st century since it facilitates both learning and teaching. For this week's assignment, we created a padlet wall. First, we made groups of four people and then chose one of the given topics. We wanted to prepare a wall about air pollution since it is today's important issue.
As for the project process, creating the wall was quite easy. Creating a KWL chart was also not hard. I could find questions and answers very quickly because our topic was wide enough to search.
If I talk about Padlet, it is a great tool for people of all ages. If you want to give credit to the source you use, it allows you to share it. You can also find various images about your entry. In addition to these, you can use your creativity when creating the wall. You can choose the wallpaper etc. It is very open to customization.
When it comes to the development of my 21st-century skills, it was very beneficial. It was a group project, therefore it improved my collaboration and communication skills. It also improved my technology and information skills because I had to use technology and search for reliable information. It also affected my creativity because the design of the wall was up to us.
All in all, I really enjoyed and learned during the project. It is a crystal-clear fact that websites are an indispensable part of 21st-century education. We should use them to our advantage!
