A fun way of learning English: Creating a Poster!

Creating a poster is so much fun and beneficial for learning a language. It also helps students to improve their creativity. That's why we were supposed to create a digital movie or magazine poster this week.

When I first heard the assignment, the first thing that came to my mind was a science magazine cover. I was very much into space in my childhood so I wanted to prepare my own version.

I used PhotoScape while creating the poster. It is such an easy tool that the process was quite easy. It is also free.

To sum, creating a poster was super enjoyable for me. I also support the use of it in the language classroom. It has various advantages. For instance, as I mentioned above, it improves students' creativity. It is also relaxing for students who have lots of challenging courses. They tend to pay more attention to the tasks that they think are easy. Since it is an entertaining task, their motivation can increase too. All in all, this is one of the most joyful ways of teaching English. It should be encouraged to students of all ages.
